Topical authority
What it meansHow much the sites linking to you are about the same subject as you. A pub linked from a music venue, a beer blog or a food guide is "on topic"; a link from an unrelated shop abroad says little about what you do. Higher means search engines see you as a trusted name for your subject.
How to improve it
Look for links from sites about your trade: suppliers, trade bodies, event listings, specialist blogs and guides.
