Content SEO checks
Page-by-page checks for your titles, keyphrases and readability
Every scanned page gets an SEO score and a readability score, with plain advice on what to improve and new titles and descriptions to approve.

Why it matters
From the problem to what SEOmise does
Pages that do not say what they are about
A page can look fine and still have a weak title, no description, or a topic that hardly appears in its text. Long sentences and walls of text make it hard to read. Checking every page by hand is slow work.
Page-by-page checks for your titles, keyphrases and readability
- Two scores per page. An SEO score and a readability score for every page. Sort and filter to find the weakest pages first.
- Focus keyphrase checks. Whether the keyphrase is in the title (and at its start), the description, the address, the introduction, subheadings and image alt text, and how often it appears.
- Title and description checks. Whether the title is likely to be cut off in search results and whether the description is too long, with a preview of the result.
How it works
Four steps, start to finish
- Scan your siteContent SEO works on the pages and text from your latest website scan. Nothing is installed on your site.
- Set a focus keyphraseTell SEOmise the search phrase each page is for. Where none is set, it suggests one from the page title and main heading.
- Read the checksEach page gets a check list with good, improve and problem results, a preview of how its title and description may look in Google, and a readability summary.
- Propose a better titleWrite it yourself, start from the page's own text, or let AI draft it. It goes to Changes for approval before anything is published.

Suggestions from the page or AI
A free suggestion built from the page's own text, or an AI draft that uses your credits. Edit either freely before you send it.
Back into search results
If a page tells search engines not to show it (noindex) by mistake, propose letting them show it again.
What it needs
No surprises after you sign up

A website scan
A website scan
The checks read the pages and text from your latest scan. A scan made before text was stored needs a rescan for the full analysis.
A site connector, to publish
A site connector, to publish
Approved titles and descriptions publish through it. Without one, put the suggestion into your site's own editor.
Credits for AI (optional)

Questions
Content SEO checks: common questions
Do I have to set a focus keyphrase?
No, but the keyphrase checks only run once one is set. Until then SEOmise suggests a candidate from the page title and main heading.
Does it work for pages in other languages?
The SEO checks work on any page. The readability checks are built for English, so on a page in another language SEOmise says so instead of scoring it.
Will it change my pages?
Not by itself. Every proposal goes to Changes, where someone with the right role approves it. With a site connector it is then published, checked on the live page and can be rolled back.
Do AI suggestions cost anything?
AI suggestions use your workspace's credits. The suggestion built from the page's own text is free, and SEOmise uses it when AI is off or your credits have run out.
Why does a page say the analysis is not available?
Either the scan stored no text for that page, and a new scan reads it, or the page has too little text in paragraphs to judge its readability.
Which plans include Content SEO checks?
Content SEO checks is included in the Test Plan plan. Prices and limits are on the pricing page.
