Link campaigns

Plan paid link placements, approve the exact total, then order

Set a goal and a budget. SEOmise scores placements from connected link providers and proposes a plan. Nothing is charged before you approve the exact total.

Why it matters

From the problem to what SEOmise does

The problem

Buying links is easy to get wrong

A placement is a link to your site on another website, such as in an article or a directory listing. Paid placements cost money, can carry risk under Google's spam policies, and a link you paid for can disappear later. Without clear approvals and checks, it is hard to know what you bought and whether it is still live.

What Link campaigns does

Plan paid link placements, approve the exact total, then order

  • Scored placements. Each placement is scored on eight parts, including topic fit, risk signals, country and language fit and price, with the reasons shown. An optional AI check can only make the advice more careful.
  • Compliance mode, on by default. Paid "dofollow" links (links without a sponsored or nofollow label), apart from directory listings, are flagged as a higher policy risk and left out of automatic plans.
  • Locked prices. When you ask for approval, prices are checked again with the provider and locked for a limited time. If the price or the shortlist changes, it needs approving again.

How it works

Five steps, start to finish

  1. Set the goal and budgetChoose what the links are for, such as overall authority, one page, local citations, a competitor gap or brand coverage, and set a budget.
  2. Get a scored planSEOmise searches the connected providers, scores each placement for your site and shortlists the best within your budget, with anchors that suit your current link mix.
  3. Approve the exact totalAsking for approval locks the price for a limited time. Someone with approval rights checks it and confirms the exact total; large amounts also need their password.
  4. Pay, then orderOrders go to the provider only after payment is confirmed or, where your account has no payment step, when an approver places them.
  5. Delivered and checkedSEOmise checks each delivered link on the live page itself, then keeps checking it on a schedule.

Features

What you get with Link campaigns

Scored placements

Each placement is scored on eight parts, including topic fit, risk signals, country and language fit and price, with the reasons shown. An optional AI check can only make the advice more careful.

Compliance mode, on by default

Paid "dofollow" links (links without a sponsored or nofollow label), apart from directory listings, are flagged as a higher policy risk and left out of automatic plans.

Locked prices

When you ask for approval, prices are checked again with the provider and locked for a limited time. If the price or the shortlist changes, it needs approving again.

Budgets and spending caps

A budget is required before approval. Your plan and your workspace can set a monthly spending cap, and totals above your approval limit go to an owner, admin or billing manager.

Content your way

Let the provider write, have SEOmise draft a brief or an article for your team to edit and approve, or supply your own. Only the options the provider accepts are offered.

Clear roles

Planners build campaigns, content editors edit briefs, content and anchors but cannot spend, and approvers or billing managers approve the money.

Orders, placements and a ledger

Follow every order until the link is delivered and verified, see each live link with its anchor and link attribute, and keep a ledger of payments, charges and credits per campaign.

When a link goes missing

A paid link is reported lost only after repeated confirmed checks. An approver can then open a dispute; refunds or credits are decided by SEOmise staff and recorded in the ledger.

From citations and competitor gaps

Turn local directory opportunities or approved competitor-gap sites into a draft campaign. It still goes through the same plan, budget and approval steps.

Before and after

What changes with Link campaigns

Before: buying links ad hoc. After: with Link campaigns. Drag the handle, or use the arrow keys, to compare.

Buying links ad hoc

  • Prices and terms spread across e-mails and invoices
  • No single record of who approved what
  • Nobody checks whether the link is still there

With Link campaigns

  • One plan with a budget, scores and reasons for every placement
  • Approval of an exact, locked total by someone allowed to spend
  • Every delivered link checked by SEOmise and monitored afterwards

A connected link provider

A connected link provider

Placements come from link providers that SEOmise connects. If none is connected yet, the screens say so and nothing can be ordered.

Backlinks

Backlinks

Link campaigns builds on Backlinks, which reads your current links and anchors to plan new ones.

A plan with link ordering

A plan with link ordering

Paid ordering, the number of campaigns a month, AI plans and a monthly spend limit depend on your plan. Ordering needs an active subscription.

A way to pay

A way to pay

Online checkout where it is set up for your account; otherwise bank transfer or invoice, confirmed by SEOmise before the orders go out.

Questions

Link campaigns: common questions

Can SEOmise buy links without my approval?

No. There is no automatic ordering. Even automatically drafted campaigns are never planned, approved or ordered on their own: spending always needs a person with approval rights.

When am I charged?

Only after you approve the exact total. Where online payment is set up, you pay through a secure checkout and the orders go out once the payment is confirmed. If you pay by bank transfer or invoice, SEOmise confirms the payment first.

Are paid links allowed by Google?

Google's spam policies can treat paid links meant to influence rankings as link spam. Compliance mode, on by default, flags the riskier placements and keeps them out of automatic plans, and every placement is shown as paid, with its link attribute.

What if a link disappears?

SEOmise checks delivered links on a schedule and only reports a link lost after repeated confirmed checks. An approver can then open a dispute, which is raised with the provider where possible and otherwise followed up by SEOmise.

Can I cancel an order?

Before delivery, where the provider allows it. Delivered placements cannot be cancelled; open a dispute instead.

Will these links improve my rankings?

No one can promise that, and SEOmise does not. It scores placements for fit and risk and shows the reasons, so you can decide.

Which plans include Link campaigns?

Plans and add-ons are on the pricing page. If Link campaigns is not listed there yet, ask us how to get it.
