Why it matters
From the problem to what SEOmise does
Audits take hours, and lose people
Checking a site by hand is slow, and long technical lists lose clients and prospects. They want a grade, the reasons behind it and what to fix first.
A graded SEO audit of any web address, ready to share or send
- Eight graded sections. On-page SEO, technical, links, usability, performance, social, local and structured data, and AI search, each with its own grade.
- Every check explained. Each check shows what was measured and where it came from. A check that could not be measured counts for nothing: values are never guessed.
- Fixes in order. Recommendations ranked by how serious they are and how many points they cost, so the first thing on the list is the first thing to do.
How it works
Four steps, start to finish
- Enter an addressAny public web page: a prospect's home page, a competitor or one of your own pages.
- SEOmise checks itIt reads the page and its headers, robots.txt, the sitemap and a sample of its links, and tests it on a phone and a computer with Google PageSpeed.
- Read the gradeAn overall grade from A+ to F with the reasons behind it, a grade for each section and a list of fixes, most important first.
- Share or send itSend a link, download a PDF or a spreadsheet, or have the report re-run and e-mailed every week or month.
Features
What you get with SEO audit reports
Eight graded sections
On-page SEO, technical, links, usability, performance, social, local and structured data, and AI search, each with its own grade.
Every check explained
Each check shows what was measured and where it came from. A check that could not be measured counts for nothing: values are never guessed.
Fixes in order
Recommendations ranked by how serious they are and how many points they cost, so the first thing on the list is the first thing to do.
A grade that tells the truth
The grade starts at 100 and each problem takes off points by how serious it is. A page Google cannot list gets an F whatever else passes, and without the speed test the grade says "provisional" and stops at B. "Why this grade" names every cap and the largest deductions.
Phone and computer
How the page looks on a phone and a computer, and how fast it loads, from Google PageSpeed. When PageSpeed cannot test a page, the report says why.
Re-run and compare
Re-run a report after making changes and see what moved since the previous run.
Share links
A private link anyone can open without an account. It is hidden from search engines, sets no cookies and can be switched off at any time.
PDF, print and CSV
Download the report as a PDF or spreadsheet, or print it. On plans with white label, it carries your brand.
Scheduled e-mails
Re-run a project's audit weekly (Monday) or monthly (the 1st) and e-mail the shared report to up to 20 people.
See the magic
A button on every finished audit opens the site's live view: people on it now, the pages they read, where they come from, a live feed and heat maps, exportable as a PDF or CSV. Without the site connected you see the same screen on sample data, with what it takes to see your own.
A PDF ready to send
A cover page with the grade and the issues by priority, every section with how to fix it, and an appendix on how the report was made. In your agency's brand with white label, with no mention of SEOmise.
A report for every lead
With the agency lead widget, every lead gets the full audit report of their site, without using your report allowance.
Before and after
What changes with SEO audit reports
Before: audits by hand. After: with SEO audit reports. Drag the handle, or use the arrow keys, to compare.
Audits by hand
- Hours of checking for each prospect
- Long lists that nobody reads
- No easy way to show what improved
With SEO audit reports
- A graded report for any address
- A short fix list, most important first
- Re-runs that show the change since last time
Illustration of the difference, not a measured result.

Questions
SEO audit reports: common questions
How is the grade worked out?
It starts at 100. Each failed or warned check takes off points by how serious it is: a critical problem (no HTTPS, not set up for phones, noindex) costs far more than a missing social tag, and checks that are not ranking factors are shown but never cost points. A critical problem also caps the grade: a page that tells Google not to list it, or answers with an error, is an F. Without Google's speed test the grade is marked provisional and cannot be higher than B. Links from other sites are shown beside the grade, not inside it.
Can I audit a site that is not mine?
Yes. Any public web address works, so you can audit a prospect's site or a competitor before you talk to them.
Does it check the whole site?
A report checks one page in depth, plus the site's robots.txt, its sitemap and a sample of the page's links. The free audit on our website can also check up to 100 pages of the site (see the free site audit). For every page of your own site, use the Website health check.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. The free SEO audit on our website shows the grade, the section grades, how the page looks on a computer and a phone, its speed and the three most important fixes. One audit per visitor a day. The full list of checks, the PDF and the spreadsheet need an account.
Who can see a shared report?
Anyone you give the link to. The link cannot be guessed, search engines are told not to list it, and you can switch it off at any time. Deleting the report stops the link too.
Can the report carry my agency's brand?
Yes, on plans with white label. The shared page, the print view and the PDF then show your brand instead of SEOmise.
What does "See the magic" show?
With the site connected to SEOmise (the connector or the one-line tracker) and a plan that includes the connector, the live view of the site: who is on it now, where from, on which pages, and where people click. Otherwise the same screen with sample data, clearly labelled, and the plan or the step that shows your own. Data of a site is only ever shown to its own workspace.
Which plans include SEO audit reports?
SEO audit reports is included in the Personal, Business and Agency plans. Prices and limits are on the pricing page.
