Questions

AI SEO: common questions

Will this make AI assistants recommend me?

No one can promise that. AI SEO checks what can be measured on your site and shows what to fix. AI answers change from one question to the next, so one answer is a sample, not a ranking.

Which AI answers my questions?

The AI SEOmise is connected to, searching the web as it answers. It does not ask every assistant. Each question uses credits, and only answered questions are charged.

Should I block AI training crawlers?

That is your choice. SEOmise shows whether crawlers such as GPTBot and ClaudeBot are blocked but does not score it, because blocking them does not remove your site from AI search.

My site is built with JavaScript. Does that matter?

It can. Many AI crawlers do not run JavaScript, so the check looks at the HTML your server sends and flags pages whose text only appears after scripts run.

Is llms.txt important?

Not very. Some AI tools read it, but no major search engine has confirmed using it, so it carries little weight in the score. SEOmise can write one for you anyway.

Do fixes go live without me?

Fixes your connector makes go through Changes, with its approval rules, a check of the live page and undo. Fixes you make by hand are checked on the live page after you press Mark as done, or at the next AI SEO check.
