Prospect finder

Local businesses whose website is down, insecure or missing, with a quote

Search a trade and a town, or upload your own list. Every website is checked, every issue has its evidence, and you get the published contacts, a score, a quote and an audit.

Why it matters

From the problem to what SEOmise does

The problem

Finding businesses that need you takes hours

Agencies go through maps and directories by hand, open each website, look for a contact, and still write the same first e-mail. Most of that is checking things a machine can check, and keeping track of who said no.

What Prospect finder does

Local businesses whose website is down, insecure or missing, with a quote

  • Any website, any country. Every domain ending (.ie, .co.uk, .com.au, .london) and names in other scripts. No country is fixed.
  • A sheet with sources. Location, business, online presence, activity, website, score and outreach columns, with Instagram and Facebook activity through Meta's own API (Beta). Each value has a dot and says where it came from and when it was checked.
  • Your own lists. CSV or Excel, any sheet. Google Maps export headers are matched for you; phone numbers, e-mails and missing countries are cleaned up; formulas are never run.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish

  1. Find businessesA trade and a town from business listings or Trustpilot, your own CSV or Excel list, or a business you add by hand.
  2. See what is wrongEach website is checked: down, certificate problems, no website, slow, parked, no phone layout, an old copyright year. Each issue shows what was seen.
  3. Quote the fixOne click builds a quote from your expert-help packages and adds a white-label audit in your brand.
  4. Contact them properlyYou send each message yourself, with where you found their details and a one-click opt-out. A no is remembered everywhere.

Features

What you get with Prospect finder

Any website, any country

Every domain ending (.ie, .co.uk, .com.au, .london) and names in other scripts. No country is fixed.

A sheet with sources

Location, business, online presence, activity, website, score and outreach columns, with Instagram and Facebook activity through Meta's own API (Beta). Each value has a dot and says where it came from and when it was checked.

Your own lists

CSV or Excel, any sheet. Google Maps export headers are matched for you; phone numbers, e-mails and missing countries are cleaned up; formulas are never run.

Statuses in your words

Working, No Website, DNS Error, Social Only, 404, SSL Error and more, each with an outreach angle you can change.

Contacts with their source

Only what the business publishes: its listing, its own website and, for UK companies, Companies House. The web designer's address is left out, and Facebook is never opened by us.

A score, a pipeline and automations

Issues add up by group, so the businesses with the most to gain come first. Rules set the next step for you, and your CRM or Zapier hears of every change through the API and webhooks. A won business becomes a client with a project.

Prospecting runs

Several towns and trades in one go, only the businesses that match what you look for, a link depth you choose, caps on cost and pages, and a log. Repeat them every week.

Personal e-mails, a few a day

AI writes one e-mail for each business from its own facts and lists the facts it used. You see the credit cost first, review every e-mail, then they go out 10 a day in business hours.

Lapsed domains of live businesses

Website addresses that expired or were dropped while the business still trades, matched by phone, name and town to the archive's last good copy. Offer to recover them for the business.

Ready-made searches and an outreach page

Broken websites, no website, lapsed domains, outdated WordPress or PHP, GDPR gaps, low ratings, inactive businesses. Outreach shows what goes out each day and what comes back.

Sequences by e-mail, text or WhatsApp

A first message and follow-ups with facts from each business, approved by you, sent only where the country rules allow (WhatsApp only to businesses that agreed), stopped by a reply, STOP, an opt-out or a bounce.

Privacy built in

A legitimate interest record, a privacy line in every message, a never-contact list across the platform, daily limits and automatic deletion after 90 days.

Questions

Prospect finder: common questions

Where do the businesses come from?

From business listings (Google Maps data from our data provider) and Trustpilot, which are paid searches in your plan, or from your own CSV or Excel list and businesses you add by hand.

Do you read Facebook?

No. The Facebook page is found on the business's own website, its listing or a web search. Facebook itself is never opened by us; you can look by hand and note the rating. When SEOmise's administrators switch it on after Meta's approval (Beta), the date of a public Page's newest post and an Instagram business account's followers and posts come from Meta's own API.

Can I send e-mails automatically?

Only in a sequence you approved, and only to businesses the country rules allow (companies with an opt-out in Ireland and the UK; sole traders after their consent), with your identity, a privacy line and a one-click opt-out, within a daily cap per sender.

Does the AI make things up?

It is given only the business's own facts and must list the ones it used. An e-mail that names a fact it was not given, or holds a link or an address, is not used and not charged. You read and approve every e-mail before anything is sent.

Do you buy expired domains?

No. We help the business recover its own domain, registered in its own name. Registering a business's old domain to sell it back to them is cybersquatting, and we never do it.

What if a business asks not to be contacted?

Its opt-out (the link in every message, or STOP to a text) puts it on the never-contact list, which every workspace on the platform respects. When it tells you, mark it "do not contact" and nobody in your workspace contacts it again.

How long are prospects kept?

Prospects nobody contacted are deleted after 90 days; won, lost and do-not-contact ones after a year.

Which plans include Prospect finder?

The tool's price gives you access. Each e-mail uses 1 credit; each text uses 2 credits; each message uses 2 credits; credits are bought separately. (Beta: ask for early access.)
