Accessibility Statement
1. Our aim
This statement covers the public website at www.seomise.com and the SEOmise app. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
2. What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline, and in the order you would read them.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, so screen readers can find their way.
- Images and icons carry a text alternative, or are hidden from screen readers when they are decoration.
- Charts come with the same figures as a table or in words.
- We check colour contrast when we choose colours (for example white text on our green buttons).
- Moving parts (animations, the pop-up astronaut, rotating messages) stop or stay still when your device asks for reduced motion, and rotating text pauses when you hover over or focus on it.
- Dialogs keep focus inside them, close with Escape and return focus to where you were.
- There is a phone version of the app.
3. Known limits
- Some data-heavy screens (large tables and the map views) are easier to use on a larger screen.
- Content our customers create, such as their own reports or pages, is their responsibility.
- Documents you download (PDF reports) may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us for the information in another format.
We have not had an independent audit.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If you find something you cannot use, or need information in another format, contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or through the help centre. Please tell us the page and what happened.
5. Our own tool
SEOmise also checks your website's accessibility (the Accessibility tool) and suggests fixes. Those checks help you find problems; they do not certify your site as accessible.
