How does a lead package work, and what counts as a lead?

Short answerOur team runs lead ads (Facebook and Instagram, Google Search, Google Local Services) and a landing page for you and promises a number of qualified leads in a set number of days. Lead inbox → your package shows the live counter ("32 of 50 delivered"), the days left, the pace needed against the pace so far, the forecast date and the cost per lead. A lead counts when it can be reached, is not a duplicate, is inside your areas and is not a test or spam; each lead shows which rules it passed, and you can dispute one within the agreed days. If the window ends short, the guarantee says what happens. Leads, not jobs won. While the service is not open yet it shows Beta with "Ask for early access".

What you get

We agree a number of leads in a window (60 days to start with), for the services you want more of and the towns or postcodes you cover. Our team runs the lead ads and a landing page; every enquiry lands in your Lead inbox. You pay our monthly fee; the ad budget is yours and goes to the ad platforms. A package promises leads, not jobs won: calling them back and winning the work is up to you.

Not sure what a lead costs for your trade? A pilot runs the ads with a fixed budget for a few weeks and promises no number: at the end you know the cost per lead and what we would promise for a full package.

Where to see it

Open Lead inbox: your package shows at the top. Open it for the whole page; your project's home shows the same counter. On the package page:

  • The counter: delivered against promised ("32 of 50 delivered"), the days left, the pace (leads a day needed against leads a day so far), the forecast date, and behind pace when the pace is well below what is needed.
  • The guarantee: what happens if the window ends short, in plain words, and what is happening now.
  • What counts as a lead: the rules, your services and areas, and the ad budget.
  • The leads: every lead from the package's ads, landing page, Lead capture forms and tracked calls, with each rule's result (Passed, Failed or Not checked, with the reason) and whether it counts. Filter by counted, not counted or disputed; click a lead for its details.
  • Ad spend and cost per lead: the spend so far and what each counted lead cost. Until spend is entered it says Not measured, never 0. Google Ads spend is read from your connected Google Ads account where it is connected; other channels are entered by our team every week.

What counts as a lead

  • Reachable: a phone number or a valid e-mail address.
  • Not a duplicate: the same e-mail address or phone number did not send a lead in the days before (30 to start with); the first one counts.
  • Inside your areas: checked by postcode (or its first part), else by the area the lead gave. When the lead gave neither, the rule says Not checked and the lead still counts unless the package says otherwise; you can dispute it if it turns out to be outside your area.
  • Not a test or spam: test leads, leads their source marked as spam and bots do not count.
  • The right service (only when the package uses it): the service asked for is one of yours.

Disputing a lead

Press Dispute on a lead within the agreed days (7 to start with), choose the reason (wrong number, not a real person, outside the area, duplicate, spam or something else) and add a note. Our team checks it and you hear the outcome by e-mail and in the app. An accepted dispute stops the lead counting; a rejected one stays counted, with our note. You need the right to work leads; nobody can dispute while our staff are viewing your account.

When the window ends short

The package says which guarantee it has before it starts:

  • We keep running at our cost until delivered (the usual one): the ads keep running with no further fee or ad budget from you until the number is reached.
  • A credit for each missing lead: our team confirms the credit (as credits in your account, or a refund) and the package page says when it was given. Nothing is charged or paid out on its own.
  • No guarantee: counting stops when the window ends.

Calls as leads (Beta)

Where call tracking is switched on, the package page shows your tracking number and where to put it: your website (with steps for your platform: WordPress, Laravel, PHP, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or any other), the landing page, the Facebook and Google ads, and your Business Profile (as the primary number, with your own as an additional number). Calls ring your own phone. A call of at least 30 seconds from a number that has not called or sent a lead recently becomes a lead. Calls are recorded only when agreed with you, and callers hear a message first. Until call tracking is ready it shows Beta.
