How is my partner membership billed?

Short answerYour tier's membership is charged to the primary card on file (the backup card if it fails), before the benefits switch on, then every month or year. It appears on your monthly partner statement. If a payment fails we try again; benefits stay on for 14 days after the paid period ends (by default), then pause until you pay. Your clients and their data are never touched.

The first payment

After your application is approved you set up your partner account. When you add your cards (the billing step), the first payment is taken: the entry fee if your tier has one, and the first month (or year). Your benefits switch on as soon as it is paid. The partner console's Membership page shows the tier, its status, the price and every payment.

Renewals

A day before the paid period ends we charge the next one to your primary card; if it is declined, your backup card is charged at once. Every payment is on your monthly statement (under licence and membership fees, with the card payment that settled it), so the statement's total does not count it twice.

When a payment fails

We try again over the following days and e-mail you each time. Your benefits stay on for 14 days after the paid period ends (by default). After that they pause: no wholesale discount, no white label, no listing, no badge and no leads, until you pay with Pay and restart on the Membership page. Your clients, their workspaces and their data are never touched.

Changing tier

SEOmise's team moves you between tiers when you ask. A move takes effect when your current paid period ends, so you never pay twice for the same days. If you have no paid period running, it takes effect at once. A tier you did not apply for yourself is never charged on its own: press Accept and pay on the Membership page, and its benefits switch on once it is paid.

Stopping

Ask us to end the membership at the end of any period. There is no minimum term; an entry fee is not refunded.
