What do the AI visibility key figures show?

Key figures of the latest check

On the Tracker tab, under the latest check:

• Named: the share of answers that name your business (by any of your brand names).
• Linked: the share of answers that list your website among their sources. An answer can link to you without naming you, or the other way round, so the two are counted apart.
• Share of voice: of every mention of you and the competitors you track, the share that was you.
• Average place: where you came among the businesses an answer lists (1 = named first). Lower is better.

Each shows its change since the check before. With more than one assistant, a table splits named, linked and average place by assistant.

Cited websites

The Cited websites tab counts every website cited in the answers of the last 30 days: how many answers and questions cite it, which assistants, whether it is your site or a competitor's, which competitors the answers citing it named, and how many of those answers named you too. Being listed or quoted on these websites is how to be named next time; start with those that cite your competitors and not you.

Google AI Overviews

Where Google's AI answers are available, the Google AI answers tab shows:

• Presence: the share of your tracked searches whose latest check showed an AI Overview.
• Overlap with the top 20: of the websites an AI Overview cites, the share that also rank in the first 20 organic results for the same search, averaged over your searches.
• Cites you: in how many of those AI Overviews your site is cited.

The overlap needs the organic results of each check, which SEOmise keeps from the first rank check after this feature arrived; until then the card says so.

Good to know

Everything here is read from answers and rank checks already kept: nothing is asked again and no credits are used. Staff choose the period, how many answers are read and the number of organic results compared.
