Can I choose which key figures a dashboard shows, and in what order?
Short answerEach dashboard's row of key figures follows one layout for everyone, set by the platform team. When your platform allows it, Arrange on the dashboard lets you keep your own copy: drag a figure (or Alt+Left and Alt+Right on its handle), × to take one off, Add a figure, then Save. Reset goes back to the layout set for everyone.
Every dashboard opens with a row of key figures: the Summary, Google data, Traffic, Visitor behaviour, the key figures of your searches, Backlinks, Local, Site health and AI visibility.
One layout for everyone
The platform team chooses, for each dashboard, which figures show and in what order. They can add figures the dashboard did not show before (on Google data, for example, the engagement rate, users, page views and pages per session, worked out from the Google Analytics figures already imported) and take off figures nobody reads. The layout only decides what shows on the dashboard: what you may see and the figures themselves do not change.
Your own copy
When the platform allows each person to arrange their own dashboards, an Arrange button shows above the figures:
- Press Arrange. Each figure gets a handle and a ×.
- Drag a figure to another place. With the keyboard, focus its handle and press Alt+Left or Alt+Right; the new place is read out.
- Press × to take a figure off. It stays in Add a figure, which lists every figure the dashboard can show.
- Press Save. Your copy follows you to every device. Cancel leaves everything as it was.
Reset to default brings back the layout set for everyone. Arranging is not possible while someone from support is viewing your workspace as you.
Figures from a source that is not connected
Figures that need a connection you have not made yet (for example calls and direction requests from a Business Profile) do not show as empty tiles. One small tile names the source and the figures it would add, and opens the page where you connect it.
