How do I sign up for SEOmise?

Sign-up is one full-screen page. The bar at the bottom shows where you are: Your account, About you, Your plan, Set up and Ready.

1. Create your account

Enter your first name, last name, work e-mail, mobile number (with its country code) and a password of at least 12 characters. Generate a strong one makes a password for you. Tick the box to accept the terms, then press Create account.

The mobile number is used for sign-in codes if you turn on two-step sign-in. It is never used for marketing.

2. Activate your account

We e-mail you a 6-digit code. Type or paste it into the boxes.

3. Add a second lock (optional)

Two-step sign-in asks for a code as well as your password. Choose an Authenticator app, or a Text message where that is offered. Keep the recovery codes you are shown: they appear only once. Or press Skip for now and turn it on later from your account.

4. Tell us about you

• Who is SEOmise for? Your business, your online shop, your clients (agencies and freelancers) or yourself.
• Where do you want to be found? Web SEO, AI SEO and, where available, App SEO.
• Your business: its name, country, team size and your role. Personal websites skip this. Agencies give the agency name and how many client websites they look after.
• Your website: type the address and press Check site. SEOmise looks at it straight away and shows its platform, whether it uses https, any SEO plugin and its theme. Agencies add their first client's website here.
• Your app: only if you chose App SEO.
• Your goals: pick up to three. You are also asked how comfortable you are with SEO and how you like to work. Those two answers usually decide which workspace you start in: guided or full. Agencies are not asked them.

5. Choose your plan

The plan step suggests a plan from your answers. See "How do I choose a plan when I sign up?".

6. Set up

After the plan comes a welcome screen, then connecting your website, then the first scan. You can skip any of these and come back to them from Start here in the top bar. If you chose App SEO only, you go straight to your app's dashboard.

Good to know

• If sign-ups are by invitation only, the sign-up page shows a waitlist instead.
• If sign-ups need our approval, you are told after entering your code, and we e-mail you when your account is ready.
• If your company already uses SEOmise, sign-up may offer to ask to join your colleagues.
