I am named in a search result, a headline or an AI answer SEOmise holds. How do I have it removed?

Short answerWrite to SEOmise and say who you are (a person or a company), the spellings of the name and, if you have them, the web addresses of the articles. We remove what we hold about you in every workspace, within 30 days, tell you what was removed, and stop collecting it again.

Updated 2026-10-23

SEOmise's reputation and research tools read public search results, news and AI answers. Some of them name people or companies who are not our customers. You can ask us to remove what we hold about you (erasure) or to stop using it (objection).

How to ask

Write to us by e-mail or post, or through the support page, and give:

  • whether you are a person or a company;
  • the spellings of the name we should look for;
  • for a company, its website domain and any e-mail addresses that should never be contacted;
  • if you have them, the web addresses of the articles or pages.

What happens

Our team records the request, checks what we hold and removes it in every workspace: search result pages and events kept for reputation projects, headlines and prospects, the text of AI answers that name you, research records and our provider cache. Counts and dates stay where our customers' own figures need them; the text that names you goes.

The name, domains, addresses and links you gave are then kept only as fingerprints on our suppression list, so nothing about you is collected again. Our register of the request keeps your initials, the date, how it reached us and what was removed: never the name itself.

We answer within 30 days.

Proposals by e-mail

Every proposal sent from prospecting has a one-click opt-out. Your opt-out applies to every workspace on SEOmise, and it keeps working even after the proposal has been deleted.
