How do I add SEOmise to my Shopify store or Wix site?

Short answerInstall SEOmise from the Shopify App Store or the Wix App Market (or from a project → Settings → Connect your website → Store apps), approve it on your platform, then sign in to SEOmise in the same browser and choose the project. Your SEOmise summary then shows inside your Shopify admin or Wix dashboard. One store links to one workspace; uninstalling the app ends SEOmise's access at once. Until SEOmise has set an app up it shows Beta with "Ask for early access".

Install the app

  • From SEOmise: open the project for the store → Settings → Connect your website → Store apps. For Shopify, type your store's address (for example harbour-bakery.myshopify.com) and press Install on Shopify; for Wix press Install on Wix. You approve SEOmise on the platform and come back linked.
  • From the Shopify App Store or the Wix App Market: install SEOmise there and approve it. SEOmise then asks you to sign in (or create your account) and to choose the project for the store. This last step works only in the browser you installed from, and only once, so nobody else can link your store.

Only an owner or admin of the workspace (or anyone who may publish changes) can install or link an app. A store already linked to another SEOmise workspace stays there: its owner can unlink it, or SEOmise support can move it.

An app marked Beta is not ready yet: press Ask for early access and we will e-mail you when it is.

What you see in your admin

Open SEOmise in your Shopify admin (Apps) or your Wix dashboard. It shows the project's website health score, the failing checks with how many pages each affects, the open recommendations by impact, and what SEOmise can do for the store, with links into SEOmise. Preview the page on Settings → Connect your website → Store apps shows the same.

What SEOmise does through the app

  • Publishing: articles go to your Shopify blog or Wix blog, and Local Page Factory pages to Shopify's online store pages (hosted publishing). Wix has no way for apps to add pages: those keep their steps.
  • Visit tracker: press Switch the tracker on. On Shopify, also switch on SEOmise tracker under App embeds in your theme editor (SEOmise opens it for you). On Wix, the app's embedded script is added (Wix may need a premium plan with your own domain). The tracker sets no cookies.
  • Creator sales (Shopify): with Influence, a brand can connect the store through SEOmise's app: orders arrive without pasting a webhook secret. SEOmise keeps order totals and discount codes, never customer names or addresses.
  • Everything else comes with the exact steps for your Shopify admin or the Wix editor, checked by the next scan.
  • Unlink on Settings → Connect your website → Store apps: SEOmise gives up its access at once and stops publishing, the tracker and orders.
  • Uninstalling the app in Shopify (Settings → Apps) or Wix (Manage apps) does the same. Shopify asks SEOmise to erase the store's data 48 hours later; for Wix SEOmise erases it straight away.
