Where do I see everything in my fix jar, and how do I keep notes on a fix?

Short answerOpen Overview → Fix jar (or press the jar's count or "View the jar" on the sticky bar). Every fix shows its report, state, credits, who added it and the latest note. Open a fix for its own page, with its timeline and a box to add notes with the date and time.

The fix jar page

Open Overview → Fix jar in your project, or press the count or View the jar on the jar at the bottom of the screen. Each fix shows:

  • the report it came from, the check and the page (or every page);
  • whether it is applied for you, by hand, or either, and its credits;
  • its state: in the jar, running, ready to apply, done, failed, or waiting with the reason (for example "Waiting on the client");
  • who added it and when, who it is assigned to, and the latest note.

Filter by state or report, search fixes, pages and notes, and open History for fixes closed in the last 90 days. Tick several fixes to Fix selected, Mark waiting (with a reason), clear their status or Remove them. Export saves the list as CSV or PDF.

A fix's own page

Press a fix's title. You see why it matters, how to fix it, the steps for your platform and one timeline of everything that happened: added, notes, status changes, requests to the client and their answers, credentials received and opened (who and when, never the value), tickets, fix runs with their credits, and when it was finished and checked.

Actions on the page: Mark finished (SEOmise then checks your live page), Check again, Engage AI to do it (the credits are shown before anything starts), Engage SEOmise to do it (our team, for the price shown), Raise a ticket, Move to To do and Assistance, which offers the three ways to fix it: the same I'll fix it myself, Help me do it and Do it for me buttons as on every finding, with Engage SEOmise under them.

Notes

Write in Add a note what you did or are waiting for. Each note keeps your name and the date and time in your workspace's time zone (Account → Workspace details). You can:

  • add a status: Waiting on the client, Blocked, In progress or Done;
  • mention a team member, who gets a notification and an e-mail as their own settings say;
  • edit your note for 15 minutes after writing it (the original stays in the audit log), or delete it: the log then shows "Note deleted".

Never put a password in a note: SEOmise refuses text that looks like one. Ask for it with Request information instead, so it goes into the encrypted vault.

The same task, one record

A fix in the jar and the same point on your To do list share one record and one log, so nothing is written twice. Moving a fix to the To do list and back keeps its notes.
