What are Search Console quick wins?

Short answerSearch → Quick wins (and a card on the project overview) lists, from your own Google Search Console data, the searches where your pages sit in positions 8 to 20 and are seen often but rarely clicked, the searches close to the top of the first page, and the pages losing clicks, each with the next step and a link to the SEOmise tool that does it. Nothing is looked up or paid for.

Updated 20 October 2026

Quick wins is under Search in each project, and the first rows show as a card on the project's Overview.

What is listed

Everything comes from the Search Console data SEOmise already imports for the project (Visitors → Google data). Nothing is looked up from another provider and nothing costs credits.

  • Seen but rarely clicked: a search for which your page has an average position from 8 to 20, was shown at least 100 times in the last 28 days, and was clicked by less than half as many people as pages in that position usually are. The next step is Rewrite the title and description: it opens the page with "Work it in for me" set to that search.
  • Close to the top: a search in the same positions with a normal click rate. The next step is Add internal links to the page (Web SEO → Internal links), then Refresh the content.
  • Losing clicks: a page whose clicks from Google fell by 30% or more (and by at least 10 clicks) against the 28 days before. The next step is Refresh the content (Content refresh, when your plan has it) or "Work it in for me" on the page.

Rows are ranked by how often Google showed them; losing pages by the clicks they lost. The usual click rates are a rough guide from published click-through studies, not a promise. Press the ⓘ button for the thresholds in use.

When the card is empty

  • Search Console not connected: the card offers Connect Search Console (people who manage the project). It is free and read-only.
  • Connected, waiting for data: the first import usually arrives within a day.
  • Beta: while Google data is not switched on for everyone yet, the card shows the Beta badge and Ask for early access.

Every platform

The list works for any website, because it reads Google's data. Applying a new title or links follows your platform: published through the site connector (WordPress, Laravel or the PHP connector), or copied into your site by hand with the steps SEOmise shows, then checked by the next scan.

Staff set the positions, impressions, click-rate share, drop and list length under Settings → Policies → Search Console quick wins.
