How does the affiliate programme work?
Short answerAffiliates are bloggers, creators and newsletter writers who recommend SEOmise without being customers. Apply on Make money → Affiliates; once approved you set up your partner account, make tracked links with sub-ids, get your own discount code and earn a share of what each customer you bring pays (20% for 12 months by default), approved after the refund window.
Apply
Fill in the form on Make money → Affiliates with the website or channel where you will promote SEOmise. Our team checks every application by hand (we also check that the website answers, how old the domain is and that the details are not already in use) and replies by e-mail.
Set up your account
The approval e-mail has a link to your partner account: set a password and two-step sign-in, accept the affiliate terms, then add your payout and tax details.
Share your links
In the partner console's Affiliate view:
- make tracking links to any page of SEOmise; add
?sub=nameto see each post, video or newsletter apart; UTM tags are passed on; - use your discount code: new customers get a discount on their first payment, and a customer who uses it counts for you when they did not come through another link;
- copy texts and banners from the marketing kit.
A sign-up counts for you when it happens within 60 days of opening your link (the last link opened wins). Each customer is linked to one partner only, once, at sign-up.
What you earn
A share of what each customer pays, net of tax and refunds, for 12 months after they sign up (20%, and 25% once you have more than 10 active customers, unless our team agreed other rates with you). Commission waits as pending for 30 days in case the payment is refunded, then it is approved and paid with your statement. Refunds and card disputes take commission back.
What you see of your customers
How many signed up and how many pay, each with an anonymous reference such as C-1A2B3C4D. You never see a customer's name, e-mail address, website or what they pay.
The rules
No self-referrals, no paying for customers with your own card, no bidding on the SEOmise name in search ads, and mark your links as affiliate links where you share them. Sign-ups and commission that break the rules are held for review or not counted.
