What does "Not live data" mean?

Short answerOn Free, SEOmise's own scans and your connected Google data cost nothing. Figures from paid outside sources (keyword volumes, search and rank checks, links, AI) cost credits. Without credits, the screen shows what SEOmise already holds, dated, labelled "Not live data", with Top up credits and Upgrade to Personal.

Free, and what costs nothing

On Free, these never cost credits, within Free's limits (pages per scan, a monthly scan):

  • SEOmise's own scan of your website: Site health, Issues and the scan's checks;
  • your connected Google data (Search Console and Analytics).

Live data from paid sources

Keyword volumes, search results and rank checks, backlinks, AI answers and other data from paid outside sources cost money each time they are asked for. On Free they are paid with credits, as on every package. Free comes with welcome credits (20 by default), and you can top up.

When there are no credits

SEOmise does not ask the paid source. The screen shows what it already holds instead: the last figures it stored, with the date they are from, or an estimate where nothing is stored yet. It is labelled:

Not live data: stored or estimated figures. Live data needs credits or a paid package.

with two buttons, Top up credits and Upgrade to Personal. Personal comes with credits worth what you pay every month.

Stored figures are never shown as live: the label and the date stay until the screen changes.
