How do I read my growth figures for a period, and see calls from my Business Profile?

Short answerOpen Analyse → Visitors → Google data. Pick the period at the top (or exact dates) and what to compare with; every figure, chart and table follows it. Click a figure to chart it, and a slice, bar or row to show only that device, country, channel, page or search term.

Updated October 21, 2026

Analyse → Visitors → Google data (the Growth data screen) shows your own Google figures for the period you choose. Connecting Google happens once, under Settings → Connections → This project; the strip under the period shows what is connected and when it last imported.

Choose the period

  • Press the period at the top: Last 7 days, Last 28 days, Last 90 days, This month, Last month, Last 12 months, or Exact dates with the calendar. Google's figures end yesterday, and Search Console's arrive about two days late.
  • Compare with the previous period, the same period a year earlier, or Day 0 (where you started). Each figure shows its change and the chart draws the comparison in grey behind the period.
  • The period, the comparison, the tab and any filters are kept in the page's address, so you can bookmark it or send the link to someone on your team.

Figures you can click

  • The row of key figures: clicks, impressions, click rate, average position (Search Console), sessions, engaged sessions and key events (Google Analytics), and from your Business Profile the calls, website clicks and direction requests. Each shows its change and a small trend line.
  • Click a figure to put it on the chart. The charts beside it switch to go with it: devices and countries for search, channels and key events for visits, and where people saw your profile for the Business Profile.
  • The chart marks what you published (articles, Business Profile posts, pages created, changes) and search engine updates, so you can see what followed. It shows what followed, not what caused it.

Show only part of it

Click a slice or a bar, for example Mobile: every figure, chart and table that Google can split that way then shows mobile only, and a chip at the top says so. Press the chip's × to remove it.

Google keeps some figures apart, so not everything can be split every way. Search Console splits by device, country, page or search term (a page and a search term together too); Google Analytics by channel or page. Where a split is not possible the tile or chart says why instead of showing a number, and a slice that cannot be combined with your filter is greyed out with the reason. Business Profile figures are never split by the website's filters.

Business Profile

The Business Profile tab shows the calls your profile brought, website clicks, direction requests, and profile views on Google Search and Maps, on phones and computers, from Google's Business Profile performance report. Messages, bookings and food orders appear once your profile has any. Without a connected profile the tab links to Settings → Connections → This project.

Content and pages

  • Content lists what was published in the period, by day: articles, Business Profile posts, pages made by the Page Factory and changes published to the site, each with a link.
  • Pages & terms has the full pages and search terms tables. Search them, sort any column, page through them and export them as CSV for the same period and filters. Click a row for that page's or term's own trend, its top search terms or pages, and links to open the page, see it in the site graph or improve it.
  • Search also shows the index status (Google's URL Inspection) and lets you inspect one page.

Platform administrators choose the period the screen opens on, the comparison and which key figures show, under Settings → Policies → Growth data.
