What is the Mise finder, and how does Mise help on the website?
Short answerOn the website Mise, our astronaut, may peek in after a while, sit in a corner and ask whether you need help. Say yes (or click him) and the Mise finder asks a few simple questions, then shows the plan that fits you with its price, why it fits and the tools that solve your need. "Not now" sends him back to his corner; "Hide Mise" hides him for a month.
Mise on the website
On some pages of our website (the home page, features, use cases, pricing and the blog), Mise may peek in from the bottom of the page after you have been reading for a little while. He sits in a corner and does small things now and then. After a while, or when you move to leave, he asks whether you need help.
- Yes, help me (or a click on Mise) opens the Mise finder.
- Not now (or the Esc key) sends him back to his corner. He does not ask again during this visit.
- Hide Mise hides him for a month in this browser.
He never appears while you sign up, sign in or pay, nor on the legal pages, and he steps aside so he never covers a button or the cookie banner. If your device asks for less motion, he does not move at all: you only see his head in the corner with the same question. Mise and Ask Mise, the chat in the other corner, are the same helper; only one of them shows at a time.
The Mise finder
The finder asks one simple question at a time, with big cards to tap and no SEO words: who the website is for, what you would like most, your website's address (or "No website yet"), how hands-on you want to be, where your customers are and how many websites you look after. Mise explains each question in his bubble. Back goes to the previous question; Close or Esc closes it.
When you type your website's address, Mise takes a quick look to see what it is built with (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Laravel and many more). SEOmise works with any website.
Your result
- The plan that fits you, with its price in your currency and, for a paid plan, what the free trial means: by default we take your card when the trial starts and charge only when it ends, unless you cancel.
- Why it fits you: each reason comes from one of your answers.
- The tools that solve it: the three to five tools that match your answers, each linking to its page.
- What happens next, and Start my free trial (or Choose this plan). Sign-up then opens with your answers already filled in: the kind of website, your goal, how hands-on you want to be and your website's address. You can change any of them.
Your privacy
Mise sets no cookie. To remember "Not now" and "Hide Mise" he uses your own browser's storage. We count how often Mise appears and which answers are chosen without any personal data: no name, e-mail or address is kept, and the website you type is only looked at, never stored.
