The WordPress connector counts daily totals only. SEOmise reads those totals with a signed request when you open the dashboard; all the analysis happens in SEOmise.

- A visitor is recognised for one day by a keyed hash; the key is replaced every day and never kept, so nobody can be followed from one day to the next
- Daily totals per page, referrer, channel, country, browser, system and device — no individual visit histories
- The universal connector for other PHP sites reports page views as daily totals and skips visitors who send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control
What you need: Live view needs one script on your site — the SEOmise WordPress connector adds it for you, other sites paste a one-line snippet. It uses no cookies and respects Do Not Track; in the EU, mention it in your privacy policy. Visitor statistics need the WordPress connector; the live site map needs nothing; Google Analytics realtime needs your Google sign-in. Sites on hosted platforms such as Shopify or Wix can use Google Analytics data instead. See integrations
