The link guarantee covers every link delivered through Modules → Link marketplace while it is switched on (the default).
How it works
- Delivered and checked: SEOmise opens the published page and checks the link itself. The guarantee starts on that first check and lasts 12 months by default.
- Watched: the link is checked on a schedule. Live placements shows "Guaranteed until" with the date.
- Gone: a link is counted as gone only after repeated confirmed checks. A page that cannot be reached is never counted as a removed link.
- Replacement first: the supplier is asked to put the link back (through its own service where it offers that, otherwise by our team). You get an e-mail and the placement shows the date of the refund.
- Refund: if the link is not back within 14 days, what you paid for that placement, tax included, is refunded automatically. By default it goes to your credit wallet as credits at their selling value, ready to spend on anything; where your campaign was in another currency than credits, our team refunds it instead and tells you.
A link that comes back in time stays covered. A link that points to another page of your site than the one ordered counts as gone too. A change only in how the link is marked (for example sponsored to nofollow) is shown on the placement but is not a loss.
Disputes
If you open a dispute on a placement, the dispute decides it and the guarantee stands aside, so nothing is ever refunded twice.
Good to know
The guarantee is about the link being there as ordered. It is not a promise of rankings or traffic. The period, the 14 days and where refunds go are settings our team can change; the terms on each site show the values that apply.
