How does the AI Plan decide what to do first?
Short answerThe AI Plan turns what SEOmise measured into a to-do list and puts the jobs that make the biggest difference for the least work first. It refreshes itself every morning.
Where the tasks come from
Open Plan & changes → AI Plan. Tasks come from your website scans, internal links, Search Console, PageSpeed, competitors, your Google Business Profile, local pages, backlinks, rank tracking and search results. The plan shows which sources are not connected yet: connect more for a fuller plan.
The same problem is never listed twice, and a task you dismissed does not come back.
How tasks are ordered
Each task is rated for impact, business value, urgency and effort (each out of 10), and for how sure SEOmise is (a percentage). Its priority is impact × how sure × business value × urgency, divided by effort. Open a task and look under How it was ranked to see its figures.
The Where the value is chart sorts the tasks into Quick wins (big difference, little work), Big bets, Fill-ins and Reconsider.
What the AI does
When AI is on and you have credits, the AI puts the tasks in order and explains each one. It may not invent figures: any sentence with a number that is not in the task's own data is thrown away.
Ranking with AI uses credits. Without credits, or without AI, the plan uses SEOmise's own rules for the order. Use Rank with AI or Refresh without AI to choose.
When it refreshes
The plan refreshes itself every morning. Press Refresh the plan to do it now. Tasks whose problem is no longer found close themselves.
While there are open tasks, the morning refresh also ranks them with AI, for one plan ranking's credits a day. To stop that for a project, switch off Re-rank with AI every morning under Ranked on the AI Plan page: the plan still updates every morning, in SEOmise's own order and without credits. Rank with AI still works whenever you choose.
Acting on a task
- Fix with AI or Fix it myself: prepares the change for you to review before anything is published.
- Add to my plan: accept the task.
- Prepare change: write the change for a task that SEOmise can publish.
- Mark as done: you did it yourself.
- Dismiss: with an optional reason. Find it again under the Dismissed tab and press Restore.
The tabs (To do, On my plan, In progress, Done, Didn't work, Dismissed) show where each task is. Nothing on your site changes until a change is published, and every change can be undone. If direct publishing is not set up, you mark tasks done yourself.
