What is the SEOmise score?
Short answerOne score from 0 to 100 that combines seven areas: visibility, technical, content, internal links, authority, local and performance. Areas with no data are left out, never counted as zero.
The seven areas
Open Overview → SEOmise score. Each area has its own score and its share of the overall score:
- Visibility (25%): where your tracked keywords rank, and your positions in Google Search Console.
- Technical (20%): status codes, redirects, indexing, canonical tags and structured data from the latest scan.
- Content (15%): titles, descriptions, headings, thin or copied content and language.
- Internal links (10%): pages nothing links to, how deep pages are and how links spread through the site.
- Authority (15%): the websites linking to you and how strong they are.
- Local (10%): the health of your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your share of the local map grid.
- Performance (5%): PageSpeed (Lighthouse) scores, or the server answer times from the scan when PageSpeed is not run.
"Not connected"
An area with no data shows Not connected. It is left out of the overall score instead of counting as zero. Connect the data source (for example Search Console, rank tracking or your Google Business Profile) to include it.
Change since Day 0
The change compares only the areas measured both on Day 0 and today, so a newly connected area does not make the score jump.
Where the numbers come from
Press Evidence on an area to see the figures behind its score. SEOmise also keeps one score per day, for the charts.
How it differs from the health score
The health score under Website health covers only what the scan of your pages finds. The SEOmise score adds rankings, Google data, links, local listings and speed tests.
