The states
Every check on Scan → Site health → Day 0 → today ("What to do next") and on Scan → Site health → Issues shows one of these:
- Fix or Improve: the check fails on some pages, with how many ("11 of 11 pages affected"). After a fix that covered only some pages it says what is left, such as "9 of 11 fixed, 2 left".
- Fixing: a fix was approved or sent and is not on your site yet, with how many pages are sent ("Fixing: 3 of 11 pages sent"). If it waits for someone, the row says who: an approval under Plan & changes, or a change to make by hand and then Mark as done.
- Fixed · checking: your site took the change and SEOmise reads those pages again in a few minutes.
- Fixed, with a green tick: the pages were read again and the check passes ("All 11 pages fixed on 28 Oct").
- Came back: a check that was fixed fails again on a later reading, with the reason. The ways to fix it come back too.
How a fix becomes Fixed
A check turns to Fixed only once its pages have been read again and pass; a change that was only sent is not counted. The pages are read again:
- by itself a few minutes after your site connector confirms the change (WordPress, Laravel or the universal connector);
- when you press Mark as done or Mark as done → check again after a change made by hand, on any platform;
- when you press Check again on a Fixed row;
- at the next scan of the site.
The figures on the tiles, the charts, the Issues list and Wins since Day 0 all come from the same scan, so once the pages are read again they all agree.
On a Fixed row
The ways to fix are replaced by View what changed (the change under Plan & changes, with Undo where your site allows it, or the scan comparison) and Check again.
Hide fixed
Fixed checks show below the open ones for 7 days (your administrator may have changed this), then drop off. Hide fixed hides them at once; Show fixed (n) brings every fixed check back. Your choice is remembered in this browser.
