Someone at my company already uses SEOmise. Can I join them?

Short answerYes. If your work e-mail domain already has a workspace, sign-up offers Ask to join: its owners get your request and can invite you. Invited people join with their own sign-in.

At sign-up

When you enter a work e-mail, SEOmise checks whether your company's domain already has a workspace. Free addresses such as Gmail and Outlook are not counted. If there is one, you can:

  • press Ask to join to send your request to that workspace's owners; or
  • press Continue with my own workspace to set up a separate one, where that is allowed.

If your domain already has several workspaces, sign-up may only offer to ask to join, or suggest asking the owner to bring them together in one agency account.

What happens next

The owners get an e-mail with your name, your address and a link to invite you. You see the same message whether or not anyone received it, and you are not told who they are.

Joining by invitation

  1. An owner or admin invites you from Team.
  2. You get an e-mail. Open its link. It works for 7 days, for that e-mail address only.
  3. Enter your name and a password, then press Create my account.

One thing to avoid

An invitation can only go to an address that does not have an SEOmise account yet. If you might join a colleague's workspace, ask them before you create your own.
