How do I find a screen, a setting, a help article or a record?

Short answerPress Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac), "/" or the Search button in the top bar and type. One search finds screens, settings, help articles, your projects, websites, pages and tickets, and tools, with where each one sits. Use the arrow keys and Enter to open one, or ask Mise beside the results.

Updated 29 October 2026

  • Press Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac) or / anywhere, or the Search button in the top bar.
  • On a phone the search fills the screen; Mise is below the results.

Before you type

  • Recently visited: the screens you opened last, each with where it sits. Only you see your list, and only in the workspace you were in.
  • Suggested for you: the next steps of the project you have open.
  • Popular searches: what people in your workspace look for most.

While you type

Results come in groups, each with an icon, the title with your words marked and where it sits under it:

  • Screens: every screen of your menu, including tabs.
  • Settings: settings, with the place they are on.
  • Help: help articles and explanations.
  • Projects & records: your projects, websites, pages of the project you have open and your support tickets.
  • Tools: tools and modules. One that is not in your plan shows Upgrade, one that is not ready yet shows Beta: both open its card in the Store.

Use ↑ and ↓ to choose and Enter to open; Esc closes the search. See all results opens a page with every result and a filter for each group.

What it understands

  • Words in titles, in where things sit and in their explanations. An exact title comes first, then titles that start with your words, then the rest.
  • Small typing mistakes ("sitmap" finds "sitemap").
  • Other words for the same thing ("cookies" or "GDPR" find consent).
  • Only what you can open: your role, your plan and your workspace decide. Nothing of another workspace is ever shown.

Ask Mise

Mise sits beside the results with questions about the screen you are on. When nothing matches well, the last result is Ask Mise about "…". Mise answers from the help, with the same daily limit and AI rules as in the Help panel; Continue in Help carries on there.

How it gets better

The search counts which result people open for which words, per workspace and without who searched, and moves those results up. Words that look like an e-mail address, a phone number or a web address are never kept, and records are never counted.
