What does the site graph show?
Short answerWebsite health → Site graph draws every page of your latest scan and the internal links between them. Use the highlight buttons to find your busiest pages, pages nothing links to, valuable pages with too few links, and pages search engines cannot index.
The site graph is a map of your website built from SEOmise's latest scan. Each dot is a page and each line is a link from one of your pages to another. It works the same whatever your website is built with.
The views
- Graph: the map itself. Pages that many others link to sit near the middle.
- Hierarchy: the pages arranged by their address, folder by folder.
- Clusters: pages grouped by the section of the site they belong to.
- Screenshots: a picture of each page, to spot a broken layout quickly.
- Table: the same pages as a list you can sort.
Colours
Choose what the colours mean: the page's status (working, redirect, broken, blocked by robots.txt, not read yet), its section, or a heat map of traffic, visitors, impressions, issues, internal authority or the PageSpeed score. A measure that needs data you have not connected (Search Console, Analytics or PageSpeed) says so and shows "no data".
Highlight pages
- Hot pages: the top tenth by clicks, sessions or visits.
- Orphan pages: only your sitemap knows them; no page on the site links to them.
- Weakly linked, high value: pages that already get traffic, conversions or a position between 4 and 20, but receive little internal authority. Linking to them from strong pages is often the quickest win.
- Ranking pages: pages with a tracked position or impressions in Search Console.
- Not indexable: pages with noindex, a canonical pointing elsewhere, redirects, errors or blocked by robots.txt.
- With a change: pages that have a proposed or completed change.
Press a page to open its details. Change preview shows the links a proposed change would add, before you approve it.
If the graph is empty
The graph needs a finished scan. Run a scan from Website health → Health overview, then come back. Weakly linked pages also need traffic or ranking data: connect Search Console or track some keywords first.
