What are "Your first wins"?

Short answerStraight after your first scan, SEOmise prepares your top fix as a change waiting for your approval and an article draft on your best topic. A card shows the progress; nothing goes on your website until you approve it.

Updated 27 October 2026

When you add your website, SEOmise gets two things ready for you, usually within five minutes of connecting:

  • Your top fix. The most important issue from your first scan that SEOmise can fix, written from your own pages (for example missing page titles or descriptions). It waits for you in Plan & changes.
  • An article draft. On the best topic for your business: a saved idea or a search your site could rank for, otherwise your service or trade. It is written by the normal Articles writer (in your brand voice when you have one) and stays a draft.

Where you see them

The Your first wins card shows the progress: reading your website, preparing the fix, writing the draft. It is on the last step of set-up, at the top of your project's overview and in the guided workspace. When both are ready it says how long they took.

Approval comes first

  • The fix: press Review and approve. On a connected website (WordPress, Laravel or PHP) SEOmise applies it after you approve and checks it; it can be undone. On Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and other platforms press See the steps: you get the steps for your platform and the values to copy, and a re-scan checks the change.
  • The article: press Read the draft, edit it, then publish it from Articles when you are happy. Writing it uses the Articles writer's credit, shown on the card. Without AI in your plan, or with no credits left, the card says so and you can write it later.

Your free audit as your first scan

If you ran the free site audit before signing up, from the same browser, that audit becomes your project's first scan, so your website is not read twice. It also works from another device when you had the report e-mailed to the address you sign up with: your sign-up's e-mail code verifies it. A shared link never moves an audit into someone else's account.

Hide the card

People who manage the project can press Hide this card once the first wins are ready. The fix and the draft stay where they are.
