Why it matters

From the problem to what SEOmise does

The problem

Google is not the only place people search

Bing and Yahoo send visitors too, and Bing's results feed several AI assistants. Local customers mostly pick a business from the Google Maps list. Checking each by hand is slow and depends on where you happen to be.

What Bing, Yahoo and Google Maps positions does

A Bing rank tracker, with Yahoo and Google Maps, for the searches you track

  • Bing and Yahoo positions. Your place in the ordinary results (ads aside) for each tracked search, with the change since the check before and the best seen.
  • Google Maps per location. Where your business shows in the Maps list at each location, recognised by its Google place, its business id, its website and name.
  • Best of all engines. One table with each search's position on every engine and which one shows it best.

How it works

Four steps, start to finish

  1. Turn on an engine for a marketChoose Bing or Yahoo for one of your Google markets. Before you turn it on you see how many checks a month it adds, included in your plan.
  2. Choose searches for each locationPick which tracked searches each business location checks on Google Maps, at its own map point.
  3. Checked on a scheduleWeekly by default, or daily where your plan includes it. A recent map grid scan answers a Maps search at no cost.
  4. Switch between enginesThe engine switch on Positions shows Google, Bing, Yahoo, Google Maps or the best of all for the same searches.
