What does "Do it for me" do?

Short answerOn a connected site, the tools have a "Do it for me" button instead of only suggesting what to do. SEOmise prepares the change, approves it when your role may, sends it through your site connector and shows each step in a window, then offers a new scan and Undo. Where it cannot do it, you get the steps for your platform and "Hire Mise to do it".

Updated 18 October 2026

Speed fixes, Accessibility check & fix, Broken links & 404s and IndexNow can make their fixes on your website for you when SEOmise is connected to it: the WordPress plugin, the Laravel package or the PHP connector.

What happens when you press it

A window opens and follows the change as it really happens:

  1. Checking the site's files: SEOmise reads what the latest scan and your connector reported.
  2. Preparing the change: the fix becomes a change, with its before and after, like every change in Plan & changes → Changes.
  3. Approving it: approved straight away when your role may approve it. High-risk changes (deferring scripts, caching rules, large batches) still need an owner or admin; the window then says it is waiting.
  4. Applying it through the connector: SEOmise sends it to your site, signed with its key.
  5. Checking it worked: SEOmise checks the live site.

You can close the window at any time: the change carries on, and you can follow it in Plan & changes → Changes.

When it is done

The window says Done. Press Scan again to see the difference, or Undo to put the site back exactly as it was (when your role may publish changes).

When it cannot be done here

  • Your site is not connected: the button reads Connect your site to do it for you and opens the connector screen. The steps stay available under See the steps.
  • Your platform has no connector (Shopify, Wix, Squarespace and other hosted platforms): there is no button. See the steps shows exactly what to do on your platform, with every piece of code to copy, and SEOmise checks the result with the next scan.
  • The site refuses the change, or it does not work: the window lists what needs doing by hand, with the steps, and offers Hire Mise to do it.

Privacy & cookies and Website watch cannot change a cookie banner, a certificate or a server for you, so their items have the steps and Hire Mise to do it only.

Cards or a list

Every tool screen has a Cards | List switch. Cards keep each item the same size, with the steps and code in a side panel; the list shows one row per item. Your choice is remembered for each tool in this browser.
