My site is on Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or another platform. Does SEOmise work?

Short answerYes. SEOmise scans any public website and counts visitors with one line of code. It cannot change pages on these platforms itself yet, so it prepares each fix with steps for your platform and checks your live site when you are done.

Updated 14 October 2026

What works on every platform

  • Scans: SEOmise reads any public website, whatever it is built on.
  • Visitors: paste one line of code before </head> on every page and SEOmise counts visits and shows who is on your site.
  • Fixes: each fix comes ready for you to apply, with steps in your platform's own words.

Add the line of code

Open Settings → Install guide and pick your platform. The steps show your own code ready to copy. In short:

  • Shopify: Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code → layout/theme.liquid, paste before </head>, save. After switching themes, paste it again.
  • Wix: Settings → Custom code → Add custom code. Needs a premium plan with a connected domain.
  • Squarespace: Settings → Advanced → Code injection → Header. Business plans and above.
  • Webflow: Site settings → Custom code → Head code, then publish the site.
  • BigCommerce: Storefront → Script Manager → Create a Script.
  • Magento and Adobe Commerce: Content → Design → Configuration → HTML Head, then flush the cache.
  • Google Tag Manager: a Custom HTML tag on All Pages, then publish.
  • React, Vue, Next.js and other JavaScript apps: in index.html or your document head. Route changes count as page views.
  • Anything else (static HTML, Ghost, Framer and more): before </head> on every page.

Clear any page cache, open your site once, then press Check installation in the Install guide.

How fixes work without a connector

  1. SEOmise prepares the fix: what to change, the text to copy and any file to download.
  2. You make the change in your platform's editor, following the steps shown.
  3. Press Mark as done. SEOmise opens the page and checks the change is there. The next scan confirms it too.

The line of code only counts visitors. It never changes your pages.
