What does the Impact Intelligence Command Centre show?
Short answerGrow with SEOmise → Impact Intelligence is the Command Centre for one website: every key figure with the period before, the change, how fresh the data is and how sure it is, the opportunities ten fixed rules found with their evidence, the safest fixes prepared for you to approve, where each data source stands and an activity log. It reads Search Console, Google Analytics and the scans of your site, uses no credits and never changes the website by itself: an approved change goes to Plan & changes like any other.
Impact Intelligence is in Grow with SEOmise, after SEOPilot, once your workspace has it. Its screen is the Command Centre.
Switching it on
An owner, admin or SEO manager presses Switch on for the website. From then on it refreshes once a day (and when someone presses Refresh now, a few times an hour at most). Switching it off keeps everything it recorded.
The key figures
Each figure shows the latest period (by default the last 28 days Search Console has data for), the period before (the 28 days before it), the change, and two labels:
- Freshness: Final (Google will not change these days any more), Still updating (Google may still change the last few days; SEOmise imports them again every day, and the figure of the final days and of the days still updating are shown apart), Out of date (the connection has not imported successfully for a while) or Not available.
- Confidence: high, medium or low, from how much data there is and how fresh it is.
Figures come from Search Console (clicks, impressions, click rate, average position weighted by impressions, pages and searches shown), Google Analytics (organic sessions, engaged sessions, engagement rate, key events and key events per session, from GA4's "Organic Search" channel), your website scans (click depth, orphan pages, broken links, pages that can be indexed), rank tracking (average rank by keyword group) and Changes (changes proposed, approved, live, failed and undone on the website, from every tool). Where your data cannot support a number, such as revenue, the figure says Not measurable and why, never 0.
Choose another period with From and To (today is never included: it is not complete in any source), or a device or country for the search figures. Show as a table lists every figure as text.
Opportunities
Ten fixed rules (no AI) look at your data after every refresh:
- Click rate falling at a stable position
- Rising search without a good page
- Pages competing for the same search (a candidate to look at, never a verdict)
- Page nothing links to (orphan pages)
- Broken internal link
- One-sided link text (mostly "click here", or the same exact search words everywhere)
- Important page with few links
- Missing or duplicate title, description or structured data
- Visitors from Google who rarely act (only where Analytics records key events)
- Page losing clicks
Small samples are skipped, and a change that happened the same way in the same weeks a year earlier is treated as seasonal and left out. Each opportunity keeps the evidence it was found with (it is never rewritten), the periods, its confidence, the expected gain as a range with its assumptions (or "Not estimated"), the risk, what to do next and its kind: Tier A (a safe, reversible fix), Tier B (needs your approval) or Tier C (always reviewed by a person). Show on the site graph opens the page on your site graph.
Prepared changes and approvals
Some opportunities have a safe fix SEOmise can build from your own pages, without AI and without credits:
- Write the missing title and Write the missing description: from the page's main heading, its first paragraph and your site name (Tier A);
- Make the title unique: from the page's main heading (Tier B);
- Repair or remove the broken links: each link to a missing page is pointed at the same page where the latest scan has it at the address with or without its closing slash, or in another case; otherwise the link is taken off and its words stay (Tier A, but taking a link off counts as destructive, so an owner or admin approves it);
- Link to it from related pages: words already on other pages that name an orphan page or an important page with few links become a link to it (Tier B).
Rewriting content, deleting pages, canonical, address and redirect changes are never prepared: they stay recommendations with their steps.
After each refresh the safest ones (Tier A, high confidence) are prepared at once. Open any other opportunity and press Prepare the change (people who can propose changes); for a title or description you can write your own words instead. Each prepared change is checked (a dry run): against the latest scan, and, where a site connector is paired, against the live page read through the connector. It shows each field now and after, what was checked, the risk, how it reaches your site and who approves it.
Prepared changes wait under Changes to approve in the Command Centre and in the same approval card on the SEOPilot screen, with Approve, No and Check again (the phone app has the same list). Approving:
- checks the page again first when the last check is more than a few minutes old: a page someone edited since is refused as out of date and nothing is overwritten;
- uses the same rules as every change in SEOmise: people who can approve changes approve them, and an owner or admin approves anything destructive or larger than the bulk threshold;
- puts an approved change in Plan & changes. Nothing is published automatically: someone who can publish sends it there, or, on a site without a connector, it comes with exact steps for your platform, Mark as done and a check of the live page;
- keeps the change's before and after, and the page's and the site's figures for the 28 days before (the baseline), unchanged, so the result can be measured fairly later.
Pressing Approve twice, or two people approving at once, makes one change. Approved changes lists where each one is (waiting to be published, live and checked, failed, undone). Undo puts back what the change made through your site connector (only this change's pages when others were approved with it); a change made by hand is undone by hand, with the old value shown on its apply card. Saying No is remembered: the next refresh does not prepare it again.
Where the data stands and activities
Where the data stands shows each source's freshness, its last successful import, how many days are final or still updating, and its time zone (Search Console reports in Pacific Time). Activities lists every refresh, every opportunity found or no longer seen, every change prepared, checked, approved or declined, switching on and off, and the changes and scans of the website.
Good to know
- It works the same for every website platform: it reads Google's data and SEOmise's own scans.
- Staff set the periods, the rules, the thresholds, which fixes can be prepared, how often a page may be checked and how long records are kept (Settings → Policies → Impact Intelligence).
