What is MiseGuard, and what do Solo and Agency include?

Short answerMiseGuard looks after your websites in one place: clean form e-mails, uptime, updates and vulnerabilities, a firewall with a daily malware scan, backups, your CDN, your domain's e-mail set-up and privacy. Solo covers one site; Agency is a base price that includes the first sites, then a price for each extra site, and adds client groups with a report per client. Both include every area and a free trial.

About MiseGuard: website protection in one place: forms, uptime, updates, firewall and backups

Updated 28 October 2026

Where it is

Modules → MiseGuard: the Overview and one tab per area. Signed up for MiseGuard on its own, it is the whole app. While it is switched off it shows a Beta badge with Ask for early access. An area your plan does not include shows what it adds and how to get it.

The areas

  • Forms: the form spam filter. Only real enquiries from your website's forms reach your inbox.
  • Uptime: Website watch. Up or down now, and the share of checks the site was up over 24 hours, 7 and 30 days.
  • Updates & vulnerabilities: Site manager. Versions, plugins and themes, updates waiting and known vulnerabilities.
  • Firewall & malware: the firewall and the daily malware scan.
  • Backups: daily backups and restores.
  • CDN: traffic, cache and security from your CDN, for one site or all sites.
  • Domain & e-mail: your domain's e-mail and DNS set-up.
  • Privacy: trackers, the cookie banner and your policies.

Areas that are about one site at a time have a site picker at the top.

The Overview

Every site in one table: up or down now, uptime over 30 days, attacks blocked, what needs you (each line opens the right tab) and a security score out of 100. Choose Today, 7 days or 30 days for the figures.

The score starts at 100 and each kind of problem takes points off once: the site down, malware found, a known vulnerability, a failed backup, the certificate or the domain running out, the firewall not on, no backup yet, updates waiting, messages in the quarantine, e-mail or DNS problems, privacy problems and open CDN alerts. Our staff set the points. Every figure comes from what the areas checked and stored; an area that has not checked a site yet shows nothing rather than a guess.

Solo and Agency

  • Solo: one site, with every area. More sites means moving to Agency: Move to Agency keeps everything and moves the subscription, prorated.
  • Agency: a base price that includes the first sites (3 by default), then an extra site licence for each site above them, every area on every site. You choose how many sites when you sign up. Add a site adds one more extra site, billed from that day (prorated); Remove a site stops one at the end of the paid period. For example, with the recommended prices an agency with 7 sites pays €29.99 + 4 × €7.99 = €61.95 a month. Agency also has client groups: put sites in a group per client, see the Overview for one client and download that client's report (CSV).
  • Both have a free trial. Hourly backups are an extra on a site.
  • With an SEO package, MiseGuard sites are added one at a time next to your plan.

The prices are on the MiseGuard page and the pricing page. Only the owner, or someone who manages billing, can add sites or change the package; nobody can while viewing as someone else.

The MiseGuard app

Open the app on the Overview opens the MiseGuard app at /guard/. Install it on your phone or computer from your browser (Add to Home Screen or Install). It opens on the Overview, signs in like the main app, and has five tabs: Overview, Sites, Alerts, Mail and More. Pull down to refresh.

Under More, press Turn on notifications for this device: an attack blocked, malware found, a backup that failed and a new enquiry, each only for the sites you may see, with the site's name and a count, never a message's content. A site that is down is told by Website watch, as before. On iPhone and iPad, add the app to your Home Screen first and open it from there. Choose the topics you get under Account → Notifications.
