Find a template
Open Reports and choose Templates (in a project too). Search by name, or pick a category: SEO, Rankings, Links, Local, Analytics, AI, Content, Leads and Agency. On a phone the templates are a list, and Filters opens the category choice.
Each card shows a picture of the template's first page, drawn from a sample on demo data, and the data sources it reads as icons.
See what it shows and what it needs
Press a card. The template opens with:
- its preview and what it is for;
- What it needs: each source with its state for the project you choose. Website scans, the rank tracker, backlink checks, AI answer checks and the lead inbox are measured by us ("Measured by us"); Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, your Business Profile, PageSpeed and the visitor tracker are connected once per project, and a source that is missing has a Connect button that opens Settings → Connections → This project at that source;
- What it shows: each section of the report in order.
You can make the report before everything is connected: a section whose source is missing says so, and a figure that was not measured is never shown as zero.
Use template
- Press Use template.
- Choose the project, the period (it starts on last month; staff can change that default), the brand (white label with the white-label add-on and your brand set up under Agency, Branding) and, if you like, who it is prepared for.
- Press Make the report. It is made with the template's sections, like any report in Reports, and opens in the Library, where you download the PDF, share a private link or put it on a schedule.
Using a template needs the "Export reports" permission and the report's module in your plan; a template outside your plan says so. Staff viewing your workspace cannot make reports.
Master templates for agencies
Save as master (owners, admins and SEO managers) keeps the template's choices as your workspace's master, shared with the workspace, and can make a copy for each client project. A copy keeps only what is the client's own, its project and "Prepared for"; everything else follows the master. When you change the master's sections, brand or cover under Your templates, every copy follows the next time it is used, and so does every schedule made from a copy.
Under Your templates: Make it the master or Stop being the master, Copies for clients to add copies, and on a copy Stop following keeps the master's choices as they are now. Deleting a master leaves each copy with the master's choices.
Coming soon
Templates for integrations we do not have yet (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, e-mail tools, call tracking, and GA4 eCommerce, which needs purchase figures we do not import yet) show Coming soon. They have no figures and no sample; Ask for early access and we e-mail you when one is ready.
On the website
Every working template has its own page at /reports/templates with what it includes section by section and a sample report on demo data.
