Can I republish my articles on Medium, LinkedIn, Substack or Blogger?
Short answerYes, by hand. Open a published article and use Republish on other platforms: pick the platform, copy the text prepared for it (it ends with a note linking to your original article), publish it there, then paste its address and press Check it. It brings readers and mentions of your brand; it is not a ranking link.
Your own website stays the original. Republishing a copy elsewhere reaches readers who would not find your site, and the note at the end of each copy links back to the original article.
Republish an article
- Open the article under Articles. Republish on other platforms shows once it is published on your website (the copy needs its address).
- Pick Medium, LinkedIn, Substack or Blogger. The steps for that platform are shown, with the copy prepared for it: rich text for Medium, Substack and Blogger, plain text for LinkedIn.
- Press Copy, paste it on the platform and publish it there. Keep the last line: it names the original and links to it. On Medium you can instead use its own "Import a story" with your article's address.
- Paste the article's address on that platform and press Check it. SEOmise reads the page and says whether it is Live, whether it links to your original and whether it names your article as the original. A platform that does not let crawlers read its pages shows Could not check; the address is kept as you gave it.
Nothing is posted for you: no platform account is connected. These platforms mark links nofollow, so this counts as reach and brand mentions, not as a ranking link. Recording an address needs the Propose changes permission; everyone on the project can read the copy.
If your workspace shows Beta, the option is not switched on yet: press Ask for early access.
