How does the agency lead widget work?

Make a widget

1. Open Agency → Widgets and go to Create a widget.
2. Give it a Name and the Allowed domains where it may appear. *.example.com covers subdomains.
3. Set the heading, button text, an optional introduction and button colour.
4. Choose whether to Ask for a name and Ask for a company, and write the Consent text visitors must tick. It is stored with every lead.
5. Choose what happens After submitting: a thank-you message, or a page on your own site.
6. Press Create widget.

Put it on your website

Copy one of the three codes: Script (auto height), Plain iframe or Hosted page (a link). The code is plain HTML, so it works on WordPress, Laravel, any PHP site, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and other platforms: paste it wherever your site lets you add custom HTML. Preview shows it inside SEOmise.

The leads

Every visitor who asks for a check appears under Lead audits with their website, score and status. Scores describe what the check found on the site; they do not predict rankings. Open Details to see the consent they gave and their report link, then:

• Create project and invite: a project for their website, and an invitation as a client user who sees only that project.
• Create project only, Export data or Delete.

New-lead e-mails go to your owners and admins, or to the address under Branding & domain → Leads: notifications and retention. There you also choose after how many days leads are deleted and how long report links last. Under Data requests, enter an e-mail address to delete every lead with it.

Limits and spam

Each check uses one of the widget scans in your plan for the month. Spam is kept out with a hidden field, timing checks, limits per network address, website and e-mail address, and a bot check where the platform has one set up.

Pause and Resume at any time. Revoke is permanent: every site showing the widget says it is no longer available.
