How do I set up Apple Business Connect and Bing Places?

Short answerOpen Analyse → Local → Apple and Bing set-up. Follow the steps for each, copy every business detail with its Copy button, then press I've done it: SEOmise records the listing and checks its name, address and phone against your details.

About Citations and NAP: a citation checker that keeps your name, address and phone the same everywhere

Updated 27 October 2026

Apple Maps, Siri and Spotlight read Apple Business Connect; Bing, Bing Maps and the assistants that use Bing's local results read Bing Places. Neither has an API SEOmise may use for your listing, so this is a guided set-up you do on their sites, the same whatever your website is built on.

Step by step

  1. Open Analyse → Local → Apple and Bing set-up.
  2. Your business details shows your name, address, phone, website, category and opening hours, each with Copy. Missing one? Add it under Citations (NAP).
  3. Press Open Apple Business Connect (or Open Bing Places) and follow the steps on the card: sign in, find or claim the business, paste each detail exactly as shown, add the hours and verify the business. Bing Places can also import a Google Business Profile: check every imported detail.
  4. Back here, paste the address of your listing if you have it, tick I had to enter something different if the platform made you change a detail, and press I've done it.

The check

SEOmise records the listing as a citation of your location and compares it with your details, as Citations (NAP) does: Matches your details, An acceptable variant, Different from your details (with the field and both values), Details missing or More than one listing. When the listing's address is on a directory our crawler may read, its page is read too; otherwise what you entered is compared. Check again repeats the check; Not done yet puts the card back to To do.
