How do I delete my workspace, and can I get it back?

Short answerThe workspace owner asks under Your account → Profile and sign-in → Your data. Once our team approves it and a cooling-off period has passed, the workspace is deleted, then kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, and erased for good after that.

Updated 14 October 2026

Only the workspace owner can ask for the workspace to be deleted.

Ask for deletion

  1. Open Your account → Profile and sign-in and find Your data.
  2. Give a reason if you like.
  3. Tick the box that says what happens next: once our team approves the request, every project, report and setting is deleted after the number of days shown.
  4. Press Request deletion.

Our team approves the request and e-mails you the date. Until that date you can press Cancel next to the request. The cooling-off period is 14 days by default; the box shows the real number.

On the deletion date

  • Your subscription ends.
  • Everyone in the workspace is signed out, and nobody can sign in.
  • The workspace is kept for 30 days by default, so the owner can still get it back.
  • After that it is erased for good. Financial records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, stay without a link to your workspace.

Get a deleted workspace back

While it is still kept, the owner can bring it back:

  1. Sign in as usual. The page says the account was deleted, with a Recover my account link.
  2. Enter the e-mail address you signed up with and press Find my account. The page shows the workspace and the date it is kept until.
  3. Press Send me a code to recover it, enter the 6-digit code from your inbox and press Recover my account.
  4. Your workspace comes back with its projects, scans and settings. Sign in to carry on. If you have forgotten your password, press I don't remember my password to set a new one with a code.

Only the owner can recover a workspace. If your sign-in was blocked, contact us instead.

Leaving, but keeping the workspace

To remove only yourself, see the article on erasing your own account.
