How do I use my SEOmise data in Looker Studio or Google Sheets?

Short answerLooker Studio and Google Sheets is an add-on (€15 a month at the recommended price). Make a reporting key with the data you want, then add the SEOmise connector in Looker Studio, or put an IMPORTDATA formula in Google Sheets. Rankings, Search Console traffic, website health, AI visibility, backlinks, the local grid and leads come by day. Read-only.

About Looker Studio and Google Sheets: a Looker Studio SEO connector and Google Sheets links for your figures

Updated 27 October 2026

Before you start

  • Looker Studio and Google Sheets show Beta with Ask for early access until they are switched on for your workspace.
  • It is an add-on: Add-on: €15/month at the recommended price (or €150 a year; the Store shows your workspace's price), bought on top of any paid plan. Some plans include it. Each kind of data needs its module (rankings need Search, traffic needs Google data, the local grid needs the map grid, leads need the Lead inbox).
  • Make a key under Looker Studio and Sheets → Reporting keys with the data you want: Rankings, Search Console traffic, Audits (website health), AI visibility, Backlinks, Local / GBP (local grid) and Leads (counts). A reporting key reads only this data and needs no API access in your plan; a workspace with API access can also use a key from Developer → API keys.

Looker Studio

Once the connector is published, Developer → Looker Studio and Sheets shows Open the connector. Add it as a data source, paste your API key, enter the project id (the number in the project's address) and choose the data. Add a date range control to your report. Agencies can publish a copy with their own name.

Google Sheets

Google Sheets' IMPORTDATA can only open an address, so the key goes in the address:

  1. Make a key with the data's scope and Google Sheets links. Only keys with that scope work in an address, and only for these CSV answers.
  2. In Developer → Looker Studio and Sheets, choose the project, the data and the days, and copy the formula.
  3. Paste it in a cell and replace YOUR_KEY with the key.

Anyone who can open the sheet can read the key, so use a key for that sheet only, with just the scopes it needs, and revoke it when the sheet is no longer used. SEOmise never writes the key into its logs.

The data

Every dataset is one row per day (and per search, market, assistant, location or source where it has one). A day without stored data is left out, never shown as 0. Leads are counts per day, source and status: never a name or contact detail. By default one request covers at most 400 days and ten thousand rows; ask for shorter ranges for more.

The same rows come as JSON from GET /api/public/v1/sites/{id}/data/{dataset} (see the API reference).

When the add-on ends

Cancel it any time on the Looker Studio and Sheets screen or under Store → My purchases: it stays on until the end of the paid period. After that your keys keep reading for 14 days (your administrators can change this), so dashboards keep their figures while you decide; no new keys can be made. Then they stop with "not in your plan". Add it again and the same keys work again.
