How does Review booster count the reviews gained?

Short answerUnder Review booster → Results, Reviews gained counts the new Google reviews that came within 14 days of a request whose customer has the same first name as the reviewer, each customer once, per batch of requests (the day they went out).

About Review booster: get more Google reviews: ask every customer, fairly and in a few clicks

Updated 27 October 2026

Google does not say who wrote a review after a request, so Review booster matches them carefully.

How a review is counted

A new Google review of the location your requests send people to counts as gained when:

  • a request or reminder really went out to a customer at most 14 days before the review, and
  • the reviewer's first name is the customer's (without case or accents: "Éamonn" and "Eamonn" match).

Each review counts once and each customer at most once. Staff can change the days, or count the latest request in the window without comparing names (then anonymous reviews count too).

Per batch

The requests that went out on the same day are one batch. The table lists each batch with the customers asked, the reviews gained, the share and the average stars. People who use another name on Google are missed, so the real number may be higher.

It needs a connected Google Business Profile, and reads the reviews already synced.
