Is SEOmise down? Where is the status page?
Short answerWhen the status page is switched on, it is at /status on the SEOmise address. It shows whether the web app, API, background jobs, scheduler and e-mail are working, any open incidents, planned maintenance and 90 days of uptime.
What it shows
- An overall state: All systems operational, Maintenance in progress, Some systems are degraded or Some systems are down.
- Five parts, each Operational, Under maintenance, Degraded performance or Outage:
- Web app and API.
- Background jobs: scans, reports and other work done in the background.
- Scheduler: scheduled scans and syncs.
- Email: whether our e-mails are going out.
- Current incidents with their updates.
- Scheduled maintenance in the next 14 days.
- Incidents from the last 14 days.
- Uptime for each part over 90 days. Days without checks show as "no data", never as 100%.
How it knows
Each part is checked every 5 minutes from real signals, such as the database answering, how long background work is waiting, whether scheduled tasks run and how much e-mail fails. Our team adds incidents when something is wrong. An incident can make a part's state worse, never better.
For your own systems
The same information is available as JSON at /api/v1/status. Both addresses answer "not found" while the status page is switched off.
If everything is green but something is wrong
Raise a ticket from Help so the screen and the last error are attached. If you cannot sign in, use Contact support on the help centre.
The status page is about SEOmise itself. To be told when your own website is down, use Website watch.
